The National Weather Service in Los Angeles has forecasted continued dangerously warm conditions for non-coastal areas today, with temperatures expected to remain similar to Monday's highs.

Inland temperatures will be significantly above normal, prompting ongoing heat warnings and advisories.

However, a cooling trend is anticipated to begin on Wednesday, although inland areas will stay very warm.

By Thursday, a further cool-down is expected, but temperatures will remain above average.

Over the weekend, another warming trend is projected. Cloud cover is minimal this morning, contributing to today's heat, particularly along the central coast, where temperatures are slightly higher than yesterday. The marine layer remains shallow, limiting coastal stratus development to the central coast.
