The beginning of fall is synonymous with the return of pumpkin spice everything, from coffee to candles and beyond—so why shouldn't those autumn vibes extend to nail color?

In a recent Instagram post, celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik shared a photo of Selena Gomez's nails painted in a shade he created especially for the actress.

"A custom muted red for @selenagomez ❤️🌹 #nailsbytombachik ," Bachik wrote in his caption.

Commenters instantly fell in love with the look.

"It’s firee 🔥🔥😍," wrote one Instagram user, with a second person calling the manicure "so impressive."

While Bachik called the color on Gomez's nails a "muted red," the burnt pumpkin hue (also referred to as "burnt orange") is being called the "perfect addition to any fall palette."

Glamour called the trend "probably the chicest way to do your Halloween nails," with Daisy Kalnina , founder of The GelBottle, telling the outlet that the seasonally-inspired color “looks incredible on short, square nails" (though it clearly works on longer nails, too, as Gomez proves).

Of course, summer isn't over just yet. In another recent post, Bachik showed off a look he created for singer Tori Kelly that captures the magic of the fading season.

" #tb to this Fairy Dust Mani for @torikelly 🧚🏻‍♂️✨ Perfect for the last bit of summer," Bachik captioned the post.

    "Beautiful✨mermaid vibes," raved one commenter.

In addition to her burnt pumpkin fingertips, Gomez can be seen on Bachik's Instagram account modeling a variety of other colors, including a pale beige called "Cold Coffee," a "blushing nude," and multicolored "custom bandana nails" for the Fourth of July.
