WWE RAW viewership increased on August 5, compared to the previous week.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com reports that RAW averaged 1.73 million viewers on August 5. The show aired on SyFy, and it was up against USA Network’s coverage of the Olympics.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW averaged a 0.62 rating.

The July 29 episode, which also aired on SyFy, averaged 1.4 million viewers and a 0.51 rating in the same demographic.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics then noted that the post-SummerSlam episode drew RAW’s highest demographic rating since the RAW after WrestleMania. Given the competition with the Olympics, this made Monday’s rating even more noteworthy.

Monday’s episode of RAW featured the fallout of WWE SummerSlam. Gunther, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and other stars appeared. Gunther commented on winning the World Heavyweight Championship, and CM Punk confronted him. Punk shared his thoughts on his loss at WWE SummerSlam, and Seth Rollins interrupted.

Elsewhere on the show, Finn Balor explained why he turned on Damian Priest. The new Judgment Day later attacked Priest, but Rhea Ripley made the save.

Additionally, the New Day faced AOP and got some help from Odyssey Jones.

In the main event, the Wyatt Sicks made their in-ring debut as they faced Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers.
