    San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport (OAK) has announced that Viva Aerobus will significantly expand its schedule this fall. The Mexican airline will increase its weekly departures from 2 to 10, adding a third flight to Monterrey and introducing a daily service to Guadalajara.

    Effective November 1, 2024, Viva Aerobus will operate three weekly flights to Monterrey on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Daily flights to Guadalajara will commence on December 2, 2024.

    Port of Oakland Aviation Director Craig Simon expressed enthusiasm for the growth, highlighting the strengthened connections between the Bay Area and major Mexican cities. Viva Aerobus CEO Juan Carlos Zuazua emphasized the airline’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and providing value with its modern fleet and competitive pricing.
