Following too close?? I'd say, since the other car was stopped. Did they check for distracted driving? Any kind of sobriety test? Or a cop, a Sheriff, admitting guilt and "fatigue" is sufficient evidence enough. Hope you got some really good insurance, but of course you know he does.

Seems the Pleasant Hill PD investigated it. They issued citations to the Sheriff for causing the accident. What more do you want to happen? This would not have been a story had the Sheriff not been involved. Rear end accidents happen all the time but yet KCCI never does a story on them.
