Disclaimer Teaser Trailer Previews Apple TV+ Drama Starring Cate Blanchett

Apple has released the first Disclaimer teaser trailer , showcasing the upcoming seven-part limited series from Alfonso Cuarón, starring Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline.

Based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Renée Knight, Disclaimer will be written and directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón, who is also serving as an executive producer along with Blanchett. Alongside Blanchett and Kline, Disclaimer also stars Sacha Baron Cohen, Lesley Manville, Louis Partridge, Leila George, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Hoyeon.

Disclaimer will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Friday, October 11, 2024, followed by new episodes every Friday through November 15, 2024.

What is Disclaimer about?

“In the series, Blanchett will portray Catherine Ravenscroft, a successful and respected television documentary journalist whose work has been built on revealing the concealed transgressions of long-respected institutions,” reads the synopsis. “When an intriguing novel written by a widower, played by Kline, appears on her bedside table, she is horrified to realize she is a key character in a story that she had hoped was long buried in the past. A story that reveals her darkest secret. A secret she thought was hers alone.”
