Disney has announced yet another price hike for its Disney Plus streaming service, along with a couple of fairly minor additions by way of a justification. From October 17, monthly and annual plans for Disney Plus will go up, Disney has announced. Disney Plus with ads will rise from $7.99 to $9.99 a month, while the ad-free tier will rise from $13.99 to $15.99.

Microsoft has revealed the first batch of games heading to Xbox Game Pass in August 2024. In an Xbox Wire post, Microsoft confirmed Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Mafia: Definitive Edition, and Creatures of Ava will be added to the subscription service. All of these will be available to subscribers via PC, Xbox, and Xbox Cloud Gaming (if you are an Ultimate tier subscriber). The first of these three games, Creatures of Ava, will be available to Game Pass subscribers starting August 7.
