21 Savage's team has shut down allegations that the Atlanta rapper dissed Kendrick Lamar on Drake's new song.

Fans began to suspect the Slaughter Gang founder fired shots at Lamar after they heard his new verse on "It's Up" with Young Thug . In it, he appears to take a swipe at K.Dot by invoking the late Tupac Shakur's notorious diss track "Hit 'Em Up."

"Made a couple songs, think he hot now/Hit his ass up, he think he Pac now," 21 spits.

Not long after the theories started to spread, 21's manager Justin “Meezy” Williams informed DJ Akademiks that the lyrics have nothing to do with Kendrick.

“I talked to 21’s people. 21 is not dissing Kendrick," Ak said. "That is not at Kendrick Lamar at all... He said, ‘That is definitely no shot at Kendrick.’ He literally said, ‘That s**t would make no sense ’cause Kendrick got more than one hit or whatever.'”

The song arrived three months exactly three months after Kendrick Lamar dropped "Not Like Us," which was the biggest song to come from his beef with Drake. The battle had just started to die down when 21 finally acknowledged it publicly in May. This would've been the first time he addressed Lamar on wax — but according to his team, that's not the case here.

"It's Up" is one of three surprise songs from Drizzy's massive content dump . The 100gb folder contains two other tracks, "Blue Green Red" and "Housekeeping Knows" featuring Latto . It also holds dozens of never-before-seen archive footage from studio sessions and tours.
