The model, who joined The Price is Right in 2021, headed to the California carnival with podcaster Lo VonRumpf, as Alexis documented their trip on social media on Tuesday.
The carousel post included pictures and videos of the duo playing carnival games and posing for selfies, including a clip of Alexis sampling snacks doused in Hot Cheetos.
“One Little Piggie wanted to Ride all the Scary Fair rides,” she captioned her post. “The other Little Piggie wanted to pet all the Farm Animals.
“Both Little Piggies ate all the Pickle/Hot Cheeto Fair Food they could find.”
She accessorized her outfit with a pair of maroon sneakers that matched her baseball cap.
Alexis was criticized for her on-screen behavior, with some people suggesting came across as insincere during a recent episode of The Price is Right before it went off-air.
Reddit users felt her reaction to the price of an everyday item was over-the-top after Alexis looked shocked to learn everyday erasable marker pens retail for $25.
One person wrote, “She’s just the worst. Not trying to be mean but I really dislike her. All the others are wonderful, she’s just way too fake with those facial reactions – like chill.”
Another fan agreed, “Yeah I find her really annoying.”
Her recent carnival outing comes as fans continue to await new episodes of The Price is Right, after it kicked off its annual summer break in July.
The long-running CBS series, hosted by Drew Carey , is airing re-runs of the program, with snippets from earlier episodes posted on its official Instagram account.
“Why no new episodes,” a fan comment under one such post read. “I can’t wait for some new episodes.”
At one point, Drew, 66, even kicked it, leaving fans at home in splits.
Reacting to the Instagram video, one user commented, “Not Drew kicking it! [laughing emoji]”
The Price is Right Hosts
The Price is Right first came on TV in 1972. Fans fell in love with the game show so much that it has been on for over 50 years. Throughout that time, the show has had a few different hosts. Find out who they are below.
Bob Barker – 1972 to June 2007 (also became executive producer in 1988)
Drew Carey – October 2007 to present
Dennis James – filled in for Bob in 1974 when he missed four episodes, also hosted the nighttime version
Craig Ferguson – 2014 April Fools Day Special
“It looks like the game machine almost had a flop [laughing emoji],” another person wrote.
In an interview with TV Insider, the American comedian said, “Oh, that happens here all the time.
“They’ll have a gummy or I’ll smell alcohol on their breath. Not unusual. There was a guy here that was tripping on mushrooms.”
Drew took over from longtime host Bob Barker, who hosted The Price is Right for 35 years.
He passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 99.
Drew told TV Insider “I want to be a good steward of the show, so I don’t screw it up and wreck it from the very beginning” while honoring his predecessor’s legacy.
