It's because of how the top NBA players control the league. The NFL top players think they can do the same, but they don't realize the Owners control all because there are more options out there, especially for trades. The reason he hasn't been traded yet is due to the contract owed to Auiyuk. The 49ers want the other team to take on his entire contract with the value of a pick and player from that team since they are extremely over the cap for 2025
