Instead, the August security update comes with a total of 50 fixes.
The tech giant doesn't go into much detail, but says in software notes that "the device is protected with improved security".
On the stability and reliability front, Samsung says "device behavior has been improved".
The first handset to receive the update is the Galaxy M55.
According to SamMobile, it has gone out to the international variant of the M55 first which has the model number SM-M556B.
Owners of other Samsung models should look out for the update coming their way soon.
You can always manually check for updates at anytime too.
Simply go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
Elsewhere, Samsung has quietly upgraded one of its popular features used to send friends photos and videos.
Quick Share is the company's very own file sharing tool which not only works between phones nearby but also uploading them onto the web.
Until now, you were limited to 5GB per day free but users have noticed that the allowance has been doubled to 10GB, allowing people to send much larger files than before.
This is especially useful for longer, high quality videos.
Quick Share for files locally via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Direct require both devices to be Galaxy.
But one of the great things about Quick Share is the recipient of files shared online via a link don't have to own a Galaxy phone to download them.
