The U.S. men's basketball team has advanced to the semifinals of the 2024 Paris Olympics tournament after winning four consecutive games. They are getting closer to potentially winning their fifth gold medal, but first, they will have a highly anticipated rematch against Serbia, led by Nikola Jokić, for the second time in Paris on Aug. 8.
Team USA has faced Jokic and Serbia twice this summer, in a pre-Summer Games match and again in the Olympics Group C play. In the latter, the USA demonstrated their prowess and cruised to a 110-84 victory.
On the other hand, Serbia staged a remarkable comeback from a 24-point deficit in the quarterfinal game to defeat Australia 95-90 , ending Patty Mills and Josh Giddey's gold medal quest.
