Elon Musk’s former partner Grimes voiced her support for his transgender daughter, Vivian, on Friday via X, stating indirectly that she sides with Vivian believes Musk is a "liar" and "serial cheater," as claimed by Viv the day prior.
In a candid post, the artist directly addressed the situation, writing: "Above all, don't lie to yourself."
The musician seemed to distance herself from her estranged billionaire baby daddy and declared her love and support for Vivian instead.

This comes after Vivian called out her father’s past in a recent social media post, responding to his comments about her gender identity.
In a statement on Threads, the 20-year-old criticized Musk, accusing him of being a "serial cheater" who "lies about his own children." She highlighted his history of infidelities and his extensive family, which includes 12 children with three different partners.
Grimes' scathing words were accompanied by a post clearly aimed at Musk that read: "The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to such a pass that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love, and in order to occupy and distract himself without love he gives way to passions and coarse pleasures, and sinks to bestiality in his vices, all from continual lying to other men and to himself.'
The post continued: "The man who lies to himself can be more easily offended than any one. You know it is sometimes very pleasant to take offense, isn't it? A man may know that nobody has insulted him, but that he has invented the insult for himself, has lied and exaggerated to make it picturesque, has caught at a word and made a mountain out of a molehill he knows that himself, yet he will be the first to take offense, and will revel in his resentment till he feels great pleasure in it, and so pass to genuine vindictiveness."
Musk has faced allegations of infidelity with figures like Amber Heard and Nicole Shanahan, claims he has denied. In a recent online post, his daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson criticized him sharply.
She challenged his Christian values, asserting he has never attended church, and dismissed his public persona as a champion of progress. Vivian also accused Musk of racism, recalling a past comment about Arabic being the “language of the enemy,” and pointed to his background in apartheid-era South Africa as evidence of discrimination.
Vivian further criticized Musk’s commitment to environmental issues, alleging that his actions do not reflect genuine concern for climate change. She expressed frustration with the public’s continued belief in Musk, claiming he has disillusioned her with his influence and public image.
Her comments followed Musk's recent statements in an interview with Dr. Jordan Peterson, where he described feeling misled into supporting his older child’s transition. Musk described his experience as confusing and expressed strong opposition to the idea of allowing children to transition, labeling it as “incredibly evil.”
