Dolores Catania Says RHONJ Cast Wanted Reunion: ‘Never Seen This Group So Excited’

During Season 14, the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast hit a wall. Within, the Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice camps rode hard for their chosen peoples. In addition, toxic bloggers and physically aggressive moments entered the chat as zero paths forward emerged. In turn, Bravo canceled the RHONJ Season 14 reunion. According to a new interview given by Dolores Catania , aka the Godmother, this move bums her cast out.
The RHONJ Season 14 cast wanted a reunion
For 14 seasons, we’ve invested in the New Jersey franchise. Following Season 14, however, Andy Cohen revealed that this series is getting a facelift . For day-one viewers such as myself, a canceled reunion, alongside the ending of this series as we know it, sucks. We put in 14 years of couch equity, so it feels like we got robbed of a true Real Housewives ending.
The cast of RHONJ feels the same, shockingly. In an interview with Out Magazine, Dolores explained that her fellow cast members were all set to film, but this decision came down the pipe, killing their dreams. Wanting the tea, the interviewer asked Dolores if the ladies’ situation was perhaps so bad that maybe one or two of her costars refused to show up for filming. But on this, Dolo says nope.
“Oh no. They wanted to sit,” Dolores began. “They had their dresses ready. I had never seen this group so excited to go to the reunion because it was going to be World War III. It was going to be hand-to-hand combat,” she joked, but we all know several grains of truth are likely hidden within this jest.
Dolores continued, explaining that her costars “were like, ‘I got my dress. I’m ready to go.’ It was that way. And then I think it was a decision that they had to make,” she accurately noted, as within this cast, situations almost always escalate rapidly, and not in a positive manner.
Dolores does admit that how Bravo reworked their reunion left everyone feeling “not so stressed out.” So that’s a positive note, for these stars at least.
However, the audience also wanted a reunion following RHONJ Season 14
In footage that dropped before this season aired, several included scenes never made it to the broadcast. One such scene teased a fracture in Teresa’s marriage to Luis Ruelas. “I want it to be better,” Luis says. “It’s not gonna be better,” Tre snaps.
Also, Margaret Josephs insinuated in the Season 14 trailer that Luis “p*ssed’ Teresa’s money away.” Teresa also brought this up, yet neither of these statements made it to the airwaves. So, again, was this a real thing, and if so, why was this storyline removed?
In addition, the series-ending RHONJ Season 14 finale fell flat. Don’t get me wrong, what aired was messy. But we’ve seen far worse from this cast, so what else happened?
By dividing these spicy meatballs, our answers to these questions are far less likely to get addressed. Which stinks.
I don't understand why Delores would go into a business relationship with a man who probably will not divorce his wife, to marry her. Delores kick him to the curb, and find someone else.

I would like to see a reunion, if it gets to bad just take the ones off the couch, who are starting the trouble, until they calm down, and fine them, $50,000 dollars each.
