Great news for Jets staff and fans as former Chargers star WR Mike Williams was just activated off the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.

Williams has been working to get fully healthy after he tore his ACL during the Chargers week 3 win over the Vikings in the 2023 season. There's been a sense of doubt on whether or not he'll be ready to make his Jets debut in week 1 this season versus the San Fransisco 49ers. He's now been cleared by team medical personnel and can perform all team activities.

With this news, not only does the Jets wide receiver room instantly improve, but QB Aaron Rodgers can now work with another highly talented skill player before the start of the regular season.

This is a major step in Williams' process to get back onto the field as soon as possible and with the Jets trying to make a Super Bowl run, Williams is a vital piece to the puzzle. When fully healthy, the former 2x 1,000-yard receiver will be the certified number 2 WR alongside young stud Garrett Wilson .

Williams signed with the Jets in free agency back in March to a deal worth up to $15 million and will now be able to make his presence felt in a top-heavy wide receiver room.
