And now, having just lost the belt to LA Knight at SummerSlam, The Undertaker would say while appearing on Paul’s Impaulsive podcast that he “ actually made that thing mean something again. ” This would subsequently leave many fans on social media outraged as it was seen as disrespectful towards recent former champions like Austin Theory, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley.

“You’ve actually made that thing mean something again, what you did and all the places that you go. When you’re with your brother, and you’ve got that belt, man, that’s next-level commitment. And that’s made that belt relevant again.”

29-year-old Paul held the United States Championship for an impressive 273 days, but given the fact he only defended it three times clearly takes away from this achievement. However, WWE management is likely more than pleased with how the Youtuber-turned-wrestlers reign went due to the fact he took the physical belt everywhere he went, resulting in WWE’s brand belt getting a lot of mainstream publicity.
