Ryan Reynolds Wooed Blake Lively With A Sweet Weekly Tradition When They Began Dating

We can’t help it, we absolutely love Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. They just seem so darn happy together and truly in love. Ryan, 47, and Blake, 36, met in 2011 while starring together in Green Lantern. Ryan knew that he was smitten with Blake, and to ensure she’d be his forever, he lathered on the charm.

Blake told People about one of her future husband’s sweet gestures early in their dating life.

“When my husband and I first got together, he would send me a bouquet of flowers every week,” she said. “But he would always send a card, and it would just be a sentence of something that had happened that week. Something funny or emotional that one of us said.”

She added his sweet words worked.

“It was just a little quote of the week. It was such a beautiful, romantic thing. Now we have 4,000 children!”

Blake’s not kidding. She and Ryan share four daughters, James, 9,  Inez, 7,  Betty, 4, and son Olin , who was born in February 2023.

Ryan Would Love To Add A Few More To The Reynolds Brood

Ryan told E! News that four kids are great, but he would love to see their family grow even larger.

“The more the merrier,” Ryan said. “As many as possible. As many little heartbeats as possible, just running around, wrecking stuff in the house. I love it. Let’s have more!”

During the interview, he joked that if he had another child, he hoped that kid would prefer him over his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star Hugh Jackman, who seems to be the favorite at Ryan’s house.

“My kids prefer everything Hugh to me,” Ryan admitted.

Blake and Ryan are certainly blessed to have each other, and if their relationship brings along a few more darling Reynolds kids, we’re here for it.
