This local counter-service chain serves tasty gorditas and light tacos that are easy to eat one after another. But their giant burritos are even more satisfying. They get loaded with a generous amount of cheese and avocado, and the steak option has thinly sliced meat and a peppery kick. Expect a fast-casual approach to the Durango-style Mexican food that's not totally unlike a certain metro-themed sandwich juggernaut. But Gordillas’ is actually fun to hang out in, especially if you like Western movie memorabilia.
