Paramount+ has welcomed the addition of The Morning Show star Augustus Prew to the 1923 Season 2 cast, which will once again be led by Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. Prew has been tapped to play the recurring role of Paul, who’s described as “a dapper, bookish, well-to-do young British man on a passenger ship.”

“1923 focuses on the Dutton family’s next two generations as they struggle to survive historic drought, lawlessness and prohibition, and an epidemic of cattle theft; all battled beneath the cloud of Montana’s great depression, which preceded the nation by almost a decade,” reads the synopsis.

Who is in the 1923 Season 2 cast?

Prew will officially be joining returning cast members Ford, Mirren, Brandon Sklenar, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Julia Schlaepfer, Jerome Flynn, and more. In addition to Prew, Season 2 will also introduced Dexter vet Jennifer Carpenter as a U.S. Deputy Marshall, named Mamie Fossett, and New Amsterdam’s Janet Montgomery as Hillary. Production is expected to begin later this year.

The Yellowstone prequel is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. Executive producers are Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Ben Richardson, Michael Friedman and Keith Cox.
