Dunkin' Unveils Boozy Twist on Its Fall Classic

With fall quickly approaching, Dunkin' is gearing up for the season in a big way with an expansion an increasingly popular line of products.

On Aug. 7, Dunkin' announced its first-ever limited seasonal offering for its Spiked Iced Coffee line, which puts a boozy twist on the fall-favorite Pumpkin Spice Latte. The new Spiked Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte is designed to cool you off in these late-summer days as fall looms on the horizon, as opposed to a typical pumpkin spice latte served hot.

In a statement about the new product, Dunkin' called the new spiked iced latte "a rich, creamy and deliciously decadent drink with the perfect balance of sweet pumpkin, vanilla, and fall spice flavors" that "offer[s] the taste consumers know and love from Dunkin’s Pumpkin Spice Latte." And you don't have to stick to drinking it out of the can to do it, as the company suggested pouring it over ice and topping it with whipped cream.

“As one of our most highly anticipated seasonal offerings, Pumpkin Spice Latte has become a staple amid everyone’s favorite cozy season. Recognizing this, we knew we had an opportunity to create something special with an adult twist on the beloved beverage,” Dunkin' retail business development vice president Brian Gilbert said.

"After receiving such an overwhelmingly positive response on our Spiked Iced Coffees after only one year in market, the Dunkin’ Spiked Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte felt like a natural addition to the line, allowing us to meet the growing demands of 21+ consumers seeking new spiked spins on their favorite Dunkin'—and fall—flavors," he added.

Dunkin' Spiked Iced Teas and Spiked Iced Coffees are currently available in stores across 27 states.
