Viral Video Shows DK Metcalf Swinging Helmet at Seahawks Teammate's Head During Brawl

The Seattle Seahawks got heated at practice on Aug. 7 with several scuffles, including a brawl in which wide receiver DK Metcalf ripped off a teammate's helmet and threw it at him.

As Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune reported on X , Metcalf "traded blows" with cornerback Tre Brown during a drill. The action was shown in the background of an NFL Network live broadcast, showing Metcalf grabbing a helmet and throwing it as several players came together.

Metcalf appeared to hit teammate K’Von Wallace in the helmet as Wallace was trying to defuse the fight.

As Bell reported, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald called players together at the end of practice. Macdonald added that Brown was involved in some other fights during the practice.

"Tre Brown punched Jake Bobo in the face, trainer needs to assist," Bell wrote. "DK Metcalf, Brown traded blows. Macdonald threw Derick Hall, Christian Haynes out of practice for fighting."

It was not immediately clear if Metcalf would face any discipline for his role in the brawl.
