Noah Lyles became the world’s fastest man when he won gold in the men’s 100 meters at the Paris Olympics on Sunday. He's going for the gold again Thursday, Aug. 8, in the men’s 200 meters.

He's fast on the track but speed doesn't apply to all areas of his life. When it comes to love, Team USA’s top sprinter takes things much slower.

Lyles first connected with Jamaican runner Junelle Bromfield in 2017 and went on one date in 2018 but they didn't become a couple for four more years.

The couple "didn't click at all" on that bad first date but after a few years as friends, they've now become inseparable.
