The buzz around Ravi Teja’s upcoming action film Mr Bachchan has reached new heights with the release of its trailer. Directed by Harish Shankar, this highly anticipated movie is gearing up to hit theaters this upcoming Independence Day weekend.

What is Ravi Teja’s Mr Bachchan’s release date?

Mr Bachchan is gearing up for a grand release on August 15, 2024 . As Independence Day approaches, fans are eagerly awaiting the film’s debut. To build anticipation, the makers have released a mass-action trailer, showcasing a glimpse of the high-octane drama that awaits. The official trailer was shared with the caption, “Bachchan Saab is here with tons of entertainment. #MrBachchan MASS MAHA TRAILER out now.”

The trailer opens with a scene in an Income Tax Department office, immediately establishing the film’s central theme. Ravi Teja makes a stylish entrance, strumming a guitar to the classic Bollywood tune “Mehbooba,” which sets the romantic tone of the film. This is followed by scenes highlighting his romantic chemistry with Bhagyashri Borse, whose Telugu debut adds to the buzz surrounding the film.

As the trailer progresses, the story shifts gears to a more intense focus. Ravi Teja, playing an income tax officer, is shown on a mission to raid the opulent villa of an antagonist played by Jagapathi Babu. Overall, Mr Bachchan explores themes of corruption and justice, with Ravi Teja’s character determined to uncover and seize illegal assets amassed through unethical practices.

As an official remake of the 2018 Ajay Devgn starrer Raid, Mr Bachchan carries high expectations. TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla produce Mr Bachchan under the People Media Factory banner. Additionally, the film recently cleared its censorship formalities, receiving a U/A certificate from the Censor Board.

As Mr Bachchan prepares for its release, it faces competition from Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh’s Double iSmart . However, that’s only in terms of regional language release. Thangalaan, Stree 2, Vedaa, and Khel Khel Mein are also releasing on August 15, 2024.
