Chelsea fans fume ‘what’s going on?’ as Real Madrid and PSG prepare to exploit situation to sign highly-rated youngster

CHELSEA fans are fuming after a highly-rated youngster was linked with a move to Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.

Josh Acheampong could break into the first-team at Stamford Bridge this season – if he is not sold.

The right-back has risen through the ranks of Chelsea’s academy and could provide competition for the likes of Reece James, Malo Gusto and Alfie Gilchrist.

But the Blues are also considering selling the youngster, according to the Independent .

It is claimed Real Madrid and PSG are admirers of Acheampong and could try and take advantage of Chelsea’s desire to sell academy graduates.

By cashing in on Acheampong, Chelsea will make “pure profit” from the player, which will help the club meet profit and sustainability rules.

It is the same reason why the club looks set to sell Conor Gallagher this summer.

The midfielder has rejected back two contract offers and is closing in on a £34million transfer to Atletico after touching down in Madrid .

Fans are disappointed at the prospect of losing another academy product and have made their feelings clear.
