Over 2,200 people from all over the U.S. were polled to find out which places have people who are most and least likely to take risks in their lives. We learned which states are most likely to let things happen by chance.

New York was one of the places that got a lot of attention. BetMGM found that people in the Empire State aren't likely to quit their jobs without already having another one lined up. 44% of people in New York said they would never do it. Talk about clinging on tight to that safety net!

New Yorkers Also Don't Want To Live On The Edge With Their Money

New Yorkers also dislike living on the edge with their money. A study by BetMGM found that they are the least likely in the country to swipe their card without checking to see if they have enough cash. Nevertheless, they are very good at keeping track of their money.

New Yorkers are the best at keeping their jobs and being smart with their money. They like to be innovative and stay safe. To learn more about BetMGM's results by state, click here.
