When is Kyle Snyder next Olympics fight? Wrestling schedule, results, how to watch on TV and live stream

Becoming the youngest world champion in American wrestling history at 20 is no easy feat. It is all in a day's work for Kyle Snyder, a 2016 gold and 2020 silver medalist in the Olympics.

Now 28, Snyder is ready to hold gold again at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, competing at 97kg.

The Woodbine, Maryland-born Snyder went to Ohio State, winning three NCAA Division I and three Big Ten Championships for the Buckeyes. That was following an unbeaten high school record of 179-0. He went 75-5 at Ohio State.

Snyder holds records by being the youngest to win various championships, beating Khetag Gazyumov in the finals at the 2016 Olympics to earn wrestling’s triple crown (an NCAA title, World and Olympic gold medals). He has won 42 medals, 30 of them gold. Per The Gazette , Snyder has just four losses since 2020, and his experience earned him a spot on the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition in 2018.

A wrestler who can adapt and punish, Synder brings his family to Paris as he looks for his second Olympic gold medal. His experience will likely help in his pursuit of gold.

"He is, in my opinion, probably the best hand fighter, the intricacies and the physicality that he uses his hands within his stance. He never leaves his stance," wrestling coach Skylar Saar told Press Box regarding what American wrestling fans can look forward to.

"His mat awareness is better than anybody I’ve ever seen. He can be close to the edge and knows exactly where he is. His gas tank, they have a 30-second break after the first period, and those second three minutes are really, really tough. He’ll be back in the middle of the mat before the other wrestler every single time."

Here is all you need to know about seeing Snyder in action at the Olympics, including the dates he will perform and how to watch.
