Man Arrested In Deadly West Palm Beach Shooting

West Palm Beach Police announce an arrest in a murder last month that left more than a dozen shell casings on the ground.

Kevin Datus is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 32-year old Robert Milton outside of Cru Lounge in the historic Northwood section of the city.

Witnesses saw Milton punch a man and 22-year old Datus open fire on Milton in the early morning hours of July 21. Cops say he later admitted to the shooting and feared for his safety.

Police found Datus' handgun and cell phone near the scene and the man arrived at the police station on Wednesday to retrieve the phone but was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Self-defense, the man pushed him. What did he punch him for and he just retaliated back if the weapon was legal to him it was self-defense. He had no business punching that boy he knew what was gonna happen anyway
