The SEC is the top conference in all of college football and with that comes the best players in the country flocking to their programs.

Whether it is the fertile grounds of Texas or Florida, the best players come to play amongst the best competition. These players are developed by some of the best coaches in the business namely Nick Saban and Kirby Smart in recent memory.  Many of them go on to be drafted by NFL franchises and live out their dreams among the pros.

Some of the most exciting wide receivers in the country play in the SEC with Malik Nabers, Brian Thomas Jr., and Xavier Legette leading the group of playmakers last fall.

The SEC Network's Chris Doering ranked the top 10 pass catchers that played in the conference over the past decade with Alabama's DeVonta Smith leading the group.

The Crimson Tide own this list with the most wide outs within the top 10 as four different former Alabama players are named.

Smith is in a world of his own as he is the only player on this list to win the Heisman trophy following his 117 catch, 1,856 receiving yard, and 24 total touchdown season in 2020.

Amari Cooper is ranked third on this list after posting a career line of 228 grabs, 3,463 receiving yards, and 31 touchdowns over three seasons in Tuscaloosa.

At No. 7, it's Jerry Jeudy who starred in the crimson and white from 2017-2019 where he accumulated 159 receptions, 2,742 receiving yards, and 26 touchdowns.

The final Alabama player that made the list is Calvin Ridley, who slid in at No. 9. Ridley caught over 200 passes for 2,781 yards and 19 touchdowns over a three span as a member of the Crimson Tide.

This is just another reason why Alabama players, staff members, and fans claim the program as wide receiver university.
