The Young and the Restless: Phyllis and Diane Face-Off, and Devon Big Proposal

The Young and the Restless reveals that Phyllis and Diane are about to clash once again, igniting another round of their long-standing feud. Phyllis has never been one to back down, especially when it comes to Diane, so expect some sharp exchanges when they cross paths. Meanwhile, Victor steps in to offer some much-needed assistance to Summer as the custody battle with Kyle heats up. And over at Chancellor Park, romance is in the air as Devon makes a big move with Abby.

Phyllis Provokes Diane

As usual, there will be arguments between Phyllis and Diane when they cross paths. It is no doubt that Phyllis will be picking on Diane on Friday's Y&R episode because she has a way of getting under her adversaries' skin. Harrison's trip was cut short when Diane called him about his stomach problems, which sparked another argument with Summer.

It is likely that Phyllis received updates regarding the entire matter, so she might make fun of Diane for trying to gain attention from her son. Maybe Phyllis is going to pretend that Diane destroyed her relationship with Kyle to such an extent that she is now forced to throw Summer under the bus.

Diane will be furious with Phyllis regardless of the situation, especially if the custody hearing is brought up. Diane might caution that Summer will not win the case in court, but Phyllis might be adamant that Kyle will lose badly in front of the judge.

Will Kyle Face the Wrath of Victor?

Moving on, Victor appears to respond to Summer's SOS during this Friday's episode. Summer will undoubtedly benefit from Victor's connections and his willingness to provide emergency assistance, so this most likely has to do with the accelerated custody hearing.

Of course, there might be a heated exchange between Victor and Kyle at some point. Victor could use this as an opportunity to threaten Kyle with losing his Glissade job if he takes Harrison away from Summer! However, Victor may choose to treat Kyle like a business associate and concentrate on working behind the scenes to get Summer what she wants. To make the deal on their impending wedding, Devon will surprise Abby with an engagement ring and take her to a lovely picnic in Chancellor Park.

If Abby and Devon have a long engagement, is that a good or bad thing? Our predictions suggest that they will not get married anytime soon. Will it provide Devon and Abby the opportunity to end their romance before they tie the knot? While Devon and Abby are enjoying their moment of romance, they will keep an eye out to see if any unsettling news is about to surface.
