Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has helped lead Team USA to the 2024 Paris Olympics semifinals game against Serbia. Led by Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic and Atlanta Hawks guard Bogdan Bogdanovic, Serbia has a talented roster.

Despite having two losses to Team USA on the summer, Serbia came out on fire in the first half of this semifinals game, taking a 54-43 lead into the break. This was largely due to the play of Bogdanovic, who had 12 points in the first half.

Also having a heated exchange with James, Bogdanovic upset the Lakers star in the first half:

The two exchanged words, which seemed to wake James up a bit. Going right at Bogdanovic a few possessions later, James went through the Serbian star for an and-one. Finishing through contact, James pulled out the "too small" taunt:

As the broadcast suggested, Serbia may have "poked the bear" by upsetting James, as the NBA's all-time leading scorer seemed to get going after that exchange with Bogdanovic.

It was James and Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry who led the way for Team USA in the first half, as this Hall of Fame duo accounted for 36 of their team's 43 first half points.

Curry was responsible for 20 of these points, as he erupted for six made threes on just nine attempts. Trailing at the half, Team USA needed every bit of what they got from Curry and James, as Serbia played arguably their best half of the Olympics.
