NBA Star Damian Lillard At A Loss For Words Over Stephen Curry's Team USA Heroics

Team USA men's basketball was shockingly losing to Serbia going into halftime of the semifinal game. But, somehow, Team USA pulled off an unreal comeback despite having a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit.

At the end of it all, Stephen Curry was the hero for Team USA. The Golden State Warriors star had a game-high 36 points with eight rebounds and nine three-pointers in a monster effort.

Curry hit a clutch go-ahead three-pointer with less than three minutes remaining to give USA an 87-86 lead.

From there, it was all USA as Serbia fought until the end but missed a chance to get to the gold medal game.

Curry's heroics had fellow NBA stars at a loss for words, with Damian Lillard being one of them.

"Chef Curry…," Lillard wrote on X.

Other NBA stars continued to chime in as Curry and LeBron James turned it on down the stretch to give them a chance at a gold medal.

Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant and other NBA players, both past and present, reacted. But, there aren't many words to say after witnessing a performance like that one.

Curry had just seven points in 17 minutes in the USA's blowout win over Brazil on Tuesday.

But, he came through when it mattered most despite the rest of Team USA struggling for the majority of the game.

Team USA trailed Serbia 54-43 at halftime, and then Serbia outscored Team USA 22-20 in the third quarter.

But, the USA scored 32 points in the final frame to pull off an unreal comeback win.

Team USA faces Victor Wembanyama and France on Saturday with the winner getting the gold medal.
