Shocking Trade Candidate Arises for CeeDee Lamb Following Head-Turning Social Media Activity

The drama surrounding star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and the Dallas Cowboys is reaching a fever pitch this week.

Just about a month before the Cowboys open up their 2024 season, the team has yet to reach an agreement on an extension with Lamb, but it has become apparent that they don't intend on doing anything soon, according to owner Jerry Jones.

"I don't have any urgency to get it done," Jones said on Thursday, to which Lamb replied on Twitter with a "Lol."

Lamb has been holding out so far this preseason until an extension gets done, so it stands to reason that he could hold out into the season as well should no contract be inked. Of course, he could potentially be traded, as well, should things turn that way.

Based on some social media activity from Lamb and one of his former Oklahoma Sooners teammates, a surprising trade candidate may have entered the chat.

That teammate is Hollywood Brown, now a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.

On Thursday evening, both Brown and Lamb changed their 'header' pictures on Twitter to images of them together at Oklahoma. While it may be nothing, it could also mean that the two are trying to do what they can to join forces once again.

The thought of Patrick Mahomes having Brown and rookie Xavier Worthy is already frightening, but if you were to add Lamb to the mix, it would become downright unfair.

Of course, social media activity means nothing when it comes to an actual deal getting done. But when there's smoke, there's usually fire, so this is at least something to be aware of.
