    What can we learn from political polarization in a Michigan swing county?

    I 've lived in this county for 70 years. The only reason it's a swing county is because the voters in this state voted for a constitutional amendment that established a fair, bipartisan commision with Democrats, Republicans and Independents now drawing district lines rather than Republicans in power who rigged the system in their favor and dominated for decades. And so far, the new unbiased bipartisan system is working splendidly with a balance of Dem and GOP reprensentation.
