General Hospital Spoilers: Celia Returns and Sasha New Family Twist

With General Hospital (GH) announcing several exciting returns, fans are buzzing about the possible comebacks of beloved characters. One name that fans are eager to see again is Celia Quartermaine Putnam Holt, played by Sherilyn Wolter from 1983 to 1986. Though it’s been decades since her last appearance, many viewers remember Celia fondly and think now might be the perfect time for her to return to Port Charles.

A Quartermaine Connection for Sasha?

Fans of General Hospital (GH) are getting excited about all the impending comebacks because the show has been announcing multiple returns recently. GH might want to consider including another name on the list, though! Many viewers still remember Sherilyn Wolter from her time as Celia Quartermaine Putnam Holt on ABC, and they believe it is time for her to make a comeback.

This is due to the fact that Sasha could use a family member on canvas. Given that Sasha and the Quartermaine family have been getting closer, would not it be a fantastic twist if she turned out to be a real member of the Q family? There have already been hints on social media from some fans that Sasha might be Celia's long-lost kid. In that scenario, perhaps Celia ought to return to the city so she can catch up with Sasha.

Sherilyn Wolter, who recently performed as the cunning Elena Nikolas at a Santa Barbara fan event, spoke with TV Insider before the event. Upon seeing a picture of Sofia Mattsson, Wolter acknowledged that she thought there was a similarity. Considering that Wolter is obviously unaware of the writers' intentions, she was unable to verify whether Celia and Sasha might be related.

What Could This Mean for the Quartermaines?

Nevertheless, Wolter expressed her gratitude for her time on GH and stated that she would "be there" if called upon to return to the show. Thinking back on her amazing run at General Hospital, Wolter mentioned how good the experience was and that she and Emma are still friends. Instead of the usual catfights that accompany being soap opera rivals, both actresses enjoyed playing Holly and Celia as friends on screen!

It is important to note that Celia Quartermaine's comeback might happen after Emma Samms's return as Holly Sutton, which is currently in the works. At a minimum, it is a possibility to consider, as Sherilyn Wolter would be willing to take on Celia's role once more. In soap operas, parents frequently throw curveballs at their kids, but Sasha believes her mother has passed away. Maybe Celia could be Sasha’s biological mom and come walking back into her life at some point.
