About three months into taking Jardiance in the daytime, I had a hbA1c glucose worked up and I had elevated creatinine from 136 to 175. Another three months of taking Jardiance and a follow up hbA1c test elevated further and worsened my creatinine level to 236. Googled Jardiance for side effects and one was elevated creatinine. I immediately stopped taking Jardiance. Now, my creatinine has stabilized and hoped to bring it down by taking sodium bicarb daily, as prescribed.I did not follow a kidney specialist' advice to continue taking Jardiance, alleging it will stabilize at some point. Who knows when and if ever it's going to stop and normalize. I trusted my instincts. I have since resorted to using natural herbal medicines generally proven and cut down on my protein intake. This is not the first time I had bad experience with these medicines.
