I know the recipe. it's the same used at Dada and all of the Subculture restaurants.

Sooooo, being a Maryland guy I decided to wander over to Howleys and taste the crab cake for myself. Kinda disappointed. Appetizer was $17 for one and it had a hint of crabmeat inside. The crab meat is out of a can from China and was definitely not jumbo lump like it should be. Service was excellent. Coffee from Subculture was very smooth and tasty.
