"old school" people believe in black and white action/consequence. I think that's what this is. You don't divorce. You deal with it. If it was self defense, he was coming at her and it was a reflex reaction. She was mortified & didn't know what to do. That doesn't make it right. The final outcome ( his death ) is probably what led to her suicide- that's her penance- a life for a life.
