The unanimous vote came after reviewing the evaluation submitted by city manager Robert Lewis from the city’s consulting engineering firm. The main thrust of the project will be to install a higher capacity pump at the Eighth and Vine street pump station to handle the heavy loads during heavy rainfall. </p><h2 class="cci_subhead" title="CCI Subhead"> Martin Marietta wins </h2><p> Martina Marietta III took the District D Title this weekend. The new store is decorated in masculine colors of warm browns and beiges with blond Manila paneling and a suspended acoustical ceiling featuring diffused lighting. </p><h2 class="cci_subhead" title="CCI Subhead"> Special interest in play </h2><p> One of Manistee County’s summer residents with a special interest in “South Pacific” is Ray Middleton, famous singer of stage and screen who starred in the Emile de Becque role on Broadway.
