Chase U Comment On Winning NXT Tag Team Titles

Chase U is thrilled to be the new NXT Tag Team Champions.

On the August 13 episode of NXT, Chase U challenged Axiom and Nathan Frazer for the NXT Tag Team titles. Ridge Holland and Andre Chase ultimately emerged victorious and won the titles for the first time so far in their careers.

At the end of the match, Andre Chase pushed Nathan Frazer off the top before he could land his signature Phoenix Splash. This allowed Ridge Holland to drop Axiom with the 187 DDT and pin him for the win.

After NXT, Chase U were interviewed about their feelings following their title win. An emotional Ridge Holland began by thanking his teammates for their help in the victory.

“I can’t put it into words. Obviously, nobody gave us a second chance. The amount of BS that I’ve been through, that we’ve been through, to get to this point. Guys, I can’t thank you enough.”

Andre Chase then jumped in. He noted that many people didn’t believe that they could be champions, nor that Ridge Holland was as good as Chase thought he was. He added that he was proud of Holland, and happy that he has a partner like him to hold the NXT Tag Team Championships alongside him.

“I lot of people didn’t believe in us. A lot of people didn’t believe that Ridge Holland was who I said he was. Who I knew he was. Ridge, I’m damn proud of you, and I’m happy. I’m happy to be NXT Tag Team Champions with a partner like you.” said the Chase U leader.
