Having taken some time off over the years, Creed continues to share their music with fans. Although the group hasn’t released a new album since Full Circle in 2009, the band currently helms the ‘99 tour. Embracing the culture of the 1990s, the band offered fans a trip into the past and journey through their discography that featured hit songs like “Don’t Stop Dancing”, “With Arms Wide Open”, and “One Last Breath.” Recently, Creed traveled To Nashville for a concert. And given the rich history the city has with country music, the band decided to welcome a rising country star to the stage.

On the verge of performing “Weathered”, Creed’s Scott Stapp took a moment to address the crowd. He said, “It wouldn’t be a Nashville show unless we had some surprises, right? I’m gonna say this because it sounds funny — me and this next artist slipped into each other’s DMs and we started talking and we became kinda friends. I said hey man, when you’re in town, wanna jam? He said, ‘Man, I would love to.’” After giving some context, Stapp said, “So, hey, let’s give it up for Hardy!”

Hardy A Huge Fan Of Creed

With each singer showcasing their talents throughout the song, they joined forces for the chorus, which had the crowd overjoyed. Looking at what fans had to say about the surprise performance, comments included, “I did not have Hardy and Creed performing together on my 2024 bingo, but I am all freaking for it.” Another person added, “This was the best thing to see live! Hands down great concert.”

Outside of sharing the stage with Creed, Hardy honored the band numerous times throughout the year as he also toured the country. Although playing songs from his album Quit!!, Hardy always found time to cover songs like “One Last Breath” and “My Sacrifice.”

As for Creed, the band will end their ‘99 tour in September. But the good times will continue as they look to head back on the road with both Mammoth WVH and 3 Doors Down.
