Florida Gets A New Location Of Popular, FL-Based, Cracker Barrel-Owned Maple Street Biscuit Co.

    2024-08-15

Some Floridians are aware that there are breakfast chains in Florida that are owned by other chains. For example, I've written about Keke's Cafe, which has Denny's as a parent company. And now there's another chain - Maple Street Biscuit Co., owned by Cracker Barrel, that is expanding with a new store in Florida's Royal Palm Beach.

About Maple Street Biscuit Company: This eatery began in Jacksonville in 2012. By 2014, it would expand outside of Florida to Tennessee. The eatery focuses on scratch-made breakfasts with a modern twist. They pride themselves on bold flavors and "immaculately clean stores." Much of the menu is built around their scratch-made biscuits. Their most popular breakfast item is the Squawking Goat," which features fried chicken breast topped with goat cheese and pepper jelly on a biscuit for $11.95.

There are 23 Florida locations of this eatery owned by Cracker Barrel and many are well received. (Cracker Barrel purchased the eatery in 2019 for $36 million.)

For example, a Tampa store has been reviewed over 1,100 times on Google reviews and earns 4.4 out of 5 stars. Many complimented the food and quick service. A reviewer named Dawn wrote:

"My first visit to Maple Street Biscuits was fantastic! The Squawking Goat – fried chicken biscuit with goat cheese and pepper jelly – was super satisfying. The combination of flavors was amazing. Highly recommended!"

The New Store: Located at 11925 Southern Blvd., the new store opened on August 13, 2024. It already has a handful of reviews, earning 4.6 out of 5 stars. A reviewer named Vane wrote:

"Grand Opening today 08/13/24. The place was very much alive and fun with all the friendly and attentive staff. It was very busy with the grand opening festivities and the food was excellent. Great biscuits."

The author is not affiliated with Maple Street Biscuit Co. or any other restaurants.

Went once, not a fan. Now i realize why, it’s related to Cracker Barrel, not a fan. Love mom & pop shops.

Support local, they give back and support the community and appreciate your business. Corporate chains only care about the bottom line, not the customer.
