After winning the first three games of the series, the Atlanta Braves (64-56) are going for a four-game sweep of the San Francisco Giants (61-62) on Thursday.

Last night, the Braves demolished the Giants for a 13-2 win after low-scoring, 10-inning affairs in the first two games of the series. However, a pitcher's duel might return for game four of the series with two top-of-the-rotation veterans on the mound.

Eight-year Brave Max Fried (7-6, 3.56) will be the guy trying to lead Atlanta to its first sweep since mid-June. The southpaw is facing six-year Giant, Logan Webb (10-8, 3.32), and as you'll find out below, both starters have good success against the opposing team.

This is set up to be a quick, low-scoring game on getaway day for both clubs. The Braves are hoping they complete the job to ensure a happy trip to face the Los Angeles Angels, and the Giants are looking to get back to .500 before a trip to match up with the Oakland A's.

Webb is 3-0 with a 2.98 ERA in seven career starts against Atlanta. Most recently, he allowed two runs in seven innings in a win over the Braves on the Fourth of July.

The Braves' lineup got a huge boost from Michael Harris' grand return from the injured list on Wednesday, but he will slide up to the leadoff spot in lieu of Soler's absence. Soler is undergoing an MRI today after leaving yesterday's game as a precaution with left hamstring tightness.

Fried is 4-0 with a 2.40 ERA in eight appearances against the Giants in his career. He is facing San Francisco for the first time this season, and while he has good historical success against them, he will have to deal with hot-swinging rookie Tyler Fitzgerald and a new-look Giants lineup this time around.
