Canadian wildfire smoke is on full display Friday with a gray muted sky. Thankfully the smoke has not significantly impacted air quality as it remains suspended high up in the sky. The smoke will largely move out tonight and be replaced with showers and storms this weekend. Highs reached near-90 Friday, feeling like the low 90s, but this heat is short-lived as highs Saturday will be in the middle 80s. Most of the daytime is dry, and showers wait until around midnight Saturday night. On-and-off showers and isolated downpours are expected Sunday morning, but not a washout. The showers and storms become more widespread by Sunday evening, with an isolated severe storm possible. There could also be flooding downpours from Sunday evening through Monday morning.
