Paws and Claws Pets of the Week

Meet Violet, a 2-year-old chihuahua mix looking for a home. She originally came to the shelter as a transfer. Violet is very friendly toward everyone she meets. She loves to be held and picked up. She was adopted and returned due to not being housebroken so will need a family willing to housetrain her. She does well with other dogs but prefers dogs her size as bigger dogs can be intimidating to her. We think she’d do just fine in a home with cats. Sunshine came to the shelter with her sister, Stormy, who is also available for adoption. We later found out she was pregnant so she has spent some time in foster raising her kittens. They are now old enough to find their fur-ever homes so we are looking for a family to adopt Sunshine too. She is very affectionate with people and doesn’t mind being held.
