Louisiana Insurance Commissioner, Tim Temple, has been pounding the pavement. Recently he attended the National Association of Insurance Commissioners meeting.

The meeting brings together all commissioners in the country to converse about the state of insurance.

He certainly seemed to be in the right place, but will that translate to improvements for the insurance crisis here at home?

Temple says absolutely. "I knew what it was like to be the bell of the ball. Many representatives stopped me and said they are interested in doing business here again."

The fifty-six Insurance Commissioners of the nation meet several times a year to discuss the state of insurance and can also serve as a time to have conversation with insurance providers.

Hell yea they’re interested in doing business in Louisiana; as of July there isn’t anymore boundaries for them. They can increase rates and drop whoever they want anytime, without approval from anybody. It’s a gold mine, who wouldn’t wanna be here now?
