We’re all for a great new music duet, so when we heard Post Malone teamed up with Dolly Parton, we were all over it. Posty’s country album is out now and features duets from several heavy hitters in country music, and Dolly’s song is extra special.

Have The Heart is a song about lovers who just can’t quit each other. It’s a classic-sounding track with Dolly’s signature sweet twang and Post’s smooth vibe.

The chorus, “Baby, I don’t have the heart to break yours / Yeah, and trouble rode in on the back of a pale white horse / You’re so sweet, and tryna leave is like / Slammin’ a revolvin’ door (Mhm) / Baby, I don’t have the heart to break yours,” coupled with a country beat makes this the kind of song you’ll love to have stuck in your head.

The Dolly Parton Duet Is Part Of Post Malone’s New Record

His debut country album, F-1 Trillion , is a new adventure for the 29-year-old who grew up in Texas. In addition to his duet with Dolly, tracks include songs with Brad Paisley, Hank Williams, Jr., Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Chris Stapleton, Ernest, Sierra Ferrell, HARDY, Billy Strings and Luke Combs.

Dolly shared news of the song’s release on Facebook , and the verdict is in—people love the duo.

Someone wrote, “Lovely song, singers and production. I find it astounding that Dolly sounds the same now as she did when I was a young lad listening to my late dad’s records – so many years ago, I know he’d love this too.”

“He is such a nice guy in person who is very loving and respectful! I’m glad you got the honor of meeting him as well he’s amazing,” this person agreed.

Post’s has already tasted success with his single “I Had Some Help,” which debuted in May and featured Morgan Wallen. The song became a hit on social media, and Post let us all know that country is in his blood.

    In a 2015 message on X , he wrote, “WHEN I TURN 30, I’M BECOMING A COUNTRY/FOLK SINGER.”

He turned 29 on July 4, so it looks like he’s well on his way.
