Romanian gymnastics legend Nadia Comaneci first waded into the controversy surrounding Jordan Chiles' bronze medal in the hours after the floor exercise ended, and now is showing support for a solution.

Comaneci was one of the first to speak up in support of Romanian gymnast Ana Barbosu, who initially finished in third place at the Paris Olympics but was bumped down to fifth after judges reviewed Chiles' score and added 0.1 points.

Comaneci took to social media to share sympathy for Barbosu.

"I can’t believe we play with athletes mental health and emotions like this… let’s protect them," Comaneci wrote on X .

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) later ruled that American coaches were late in requesting a review, reversing the change and taking the bronze medal from Chiles to award back to Barbosu.

Comaneci has taken back to social media, showing her apparent support for Barbosu's proposal that both she and Chiles -- along with fellow Romanian gymnast Sabrina Voinea -- should get medals.

"I can't help but think about Sabrina and Jordan," Barbosu said in a statement reshared by Comaneci . "It's a difficult situation for us. I hope everyone understands that we did nothing wrong at the Olympics. I want to believe that the day will come when all three of us will receive a bronze medal each.”

Apparently Comaneci is still loyal to her motherland - Romania, she should return there and stay. If she cannot support athletes from the United States who were wrongly denied an earned Medal, she should keep her biased opinion to herself. The Judge worked for the Romanian government for ten years - so obviously there was corruption and bias there in this decision to undergrade Chile's difficult routine. And there is always the Romanian gymnastic, coaches who caused so much pain for our gymnasts in years past - the Karoli's controversy, as well...
