I'm not reading the article because I'm tired but I'm all for addicts getting the help they need if they want it! But what about all the legitimate chronic pain patients who have been abandoned by doctors because of the illicit fentanyl and other street drugs crisis! We've never abused our meds, pass every UA, do everything we're supposed to yet we're being used as the fall guys! So many of us can no longer get the only meds that have ever helped us have some semblance of life, prescription opioids, because of the CDC guidelines and the DEA and our government going after any doctors, pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies that help us, smh! Doctors are too afraid to prescribe opioids and pharmacies are too afraid to fill the scripts because of the DEA constantly threatening their livelihood so people in pain, even dying people, are often left to suffer horribly!
