Miralax is alot easier to digest than the horrible go lightly stuff they give you for a colonoscopy. I mix Miralax with the wild cherry Gatorade, which is clear not red. And I take a couple of gas - x pills with it, gas - x cuts down on the cramping and bloating from drinking the solution. I begin to lighten my diet the week before a colonoscopy, it just makes it easier. Less in means less out. But a lighter diet the week before, tends to keep things less intrusive when crunch time comes. Had both folks with colon cancer and just caught mine in the nick of time.
