Filipino Beauty Trailblazer Opens Beverly Hills Nail and Lash Lounge She Saw In a Vision

Rachelle Bravo remembers where she was when she saw her future in a vision in 2019, one that was realized earlier this month on Rodeo Drive.

She was luxuriating in a bathtub at her home in Manilla when an ad campaign for the wildly popular lash extension business New Lounge she and her husband started years earlier, a family-owned spa with a dozen locations across the Philippines that employ hundreds of women, popped into her head. In it, she was in the United States. In Los Angeles. A gorgeous woman was walking into a New Lounge location...

And with that, she focused on making her visualization a reality.

"I have a gift of vision," Bravo told Los Angeles at the grand opening of the Beverly Hills business she saw in a waking dream. "I saw a Rodeo Drive sign. I saw a marble table and a white stool. Fast forward to 2021 and I was seeing stores in Beverly Hills when there it was - that white stool at the Brighton Cafe. I knew right then I was going to make my vision happen as long as I stayed in my lane."

Last week Bravo - who has been dubbed the 'Lash Queen' in her home country - hosted a grand opening at her New Lounge store in the beautiful Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive Collection. Just like in her dream, close to the very spot she saw in her head.

New Lounge has always been at the forefront of lash and nail innovation in Asia, and the Rodeo Drive location will bring that same innovation to Beverly Hills. She is known internationally for her eyelash extensions, lash lifts, a process that acts like a perm,  which pops open the eye with a natural curl that lasts about eight weeks. Add a little tint for the WOW factor, which works.

But her team are also masters at nail art and brow lamination. The space itself is a soothing oasis tucked far from the chaos and crowds along Rodeo Drive.
